I’m a native Vancouverite. I have followed this restaurant since 1992, through 5 locations, and it’s because of their marvelous SEAFOOD SOUP. The broth is intricate with flavours and is always consistent. For seafood, there are usually 3 large prawns [one of them in a Cambodian pastry that they call a 'prawn cake'], 2 kinds of fish cake, pollock, some squid, and rice noodles. I always ask the waitress to substitute the noodles with tapioca noodles.

The dish in the centre has Thai basil and bean sprouts.. Add them when the soup arrives so that the hot soup can cook the sprouts and spread the basil flavour.

Regular bowl $6.75 Large bowl $7.50 Cash/debit only.

I used to try other places around town, but nothing matched up. The Georgia Straight newspaper named it Best in the City a couple of years ago.

Free parking in the back. Shop at Famous Foods [across the street] after you’ve eaten. 3 blocks east of Knight on the north side.

Best Pho in Vancouver. This is the best PHO restaurant in Vancouver! The taste is great and never seems to let me down. Plus, the place looks great after the renovation. The Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Soup) is really really delicious. No wonder why they got Bronze Medal from 20th Vancouver Annual Restaurant Awards and then they got Silver Medal from 21st Vancouver Annual Restaurant Awards. Once you eat here, you will definitely come back

My Favorite Pho Place!Whenever I have the craving for Pho I don’t go anywhere else but Pho Thai Hoa. Their Seafood noodle in soup is excellent. Foods always super hot and fresh and the waitresses are very nice. I think they might have changed ownership but the food is still consistently good.
